Svein Ivar Dysthe（スヴェン・イヴァ・ディステ）がDokka Moblerとコラボレーションした作品の中でもスタンダードな〈1001AF〉を、本人監修のもとFjordfiesta（フィヨルドフィエスタ）が復刻させました。
滑らかなレザーの座面、それを支えるロジカルな構造によって作られた木材、そしてスチールの脚部のコントラストが上品さを感じさせるノルウェーデザインの名作です。
当時と同じく現在もDokka Moblerによって生産されています。1961年アメリカ装飾協会賞受賞。

Sven Ivar Dysthe designed 1001AF lounge chair for dokka mobler. Fjordfiesta re-launched it with himself. The contrast between the smooth leather seat and the legs made of wood and steel with a logical structure perfectly make the chair elegant. Dokka Mobler is still producing it. 1001AF got a prize in 1961 in America.

Sven Ivar Dysthe（スヴェン・イヴァ・デュステ）はキャリア初期から国際的に活動していました。キャビネットメーカで研鑽を積んだ後、オスロからロンドンに拠点を移し、1953年にロンドンの王立美術大学でインダストリアルデザインの学士を取得。在学中、クイーンエリザベス二世の戴冠式を祝した豪華な木製キャビネットの制作依頼も受けています。
オスロに戻り1958年にスタジオを設立。1960年代前半は自身がデザインした家具の輸出を行い、それらのプロダクトは国内外で数々の賞を受賞しました。〈Laminette〉チェアはリュブリャナビエンナーレで金賞を受賞、日本のグッドデザイン賞の受賞歴もあり、またノルウェーを代表するアワードであるデザインエクセレンス賞も受賞しています。
バタフライは彼の他のデザイン同様、ノルウェーでの人気と同じくらい世界中で愛されています。
Sven Ivar Dysthe began to work internationally from the start of his career. He trained as a cabinet-maker before leaving his native Oslo for London, where he received a degree in industrial design from the Royal College of Art in 1953. During his final year, Dysthe was asked to create a luxurious wooden chest for the college to present to Queen Elizabeth II in honor of her coronation. He returned to Oslo and established his own design studio in 1958, and began to export his furniture in the early 1960’s. Since then, his work has received a number of national and international distinctions, including a Gold Medal award at the Ljubljana Biennale for his Laminette chair, a prestigious Japanese G-Mark for good design and the Norwegian Classic Award for Design Excellence. Like many of his designs, Butterfly is as popular abroad as it is at home.
